Analysis of eating habits

Personality typing is a tool noteworthy for it's helpfulness in the areas of growth and self-development. Learning and applying the theories of personality type can be an important and rewarding experience, if it is used as a tool for discovery, rather than as a method for assessing their behavior. Since eating is said as the most popular work or may be pleasure in the world, why not one more classification of people according to eating habits? This is a private classification system based on observation and is not an authoritative analysis of personality traits.

The selective eater:

He asks for the signature dish of the restaurant .He knows his food inside out, what he wants in it and how it should be prepared and sometimes he is ready to try a new dish after careful recommendations from close ones.

Analysis: He is cautious, self confident. Sometimes may be rigid and sometimes free spirited. His personal awareness level is high.

Passionate eater:

When he eats he eats with great enjoyment and when it's finished its over and forgotten with. He accepts food as something that gives pleasure. If there are pressing things to do, he can go without food all day but he sits down, he can eat huge meal with enjoyment.

Analysis: They give meticulous attention to every aspects of life. They won't let food to intrude when there is work to be done. He keeps a low profile and doesn't say much.

Healthy eaters:

He likes to eat clean, wholesome food. He eats without too much of a celebration. He may doesn't say anything if he doesn't like the food, but wont return next time either. He loves food but without the frills. He asks for organic and healthy foods. He switches off his cell phone and enjoys every morsel of food.

Analysis: Disciplined, considerate and he strives to have full knowledge of what he feels as his area of expertise.

The slow eater:

He is used to sitting with family for meals. He always lets other people get ahead of him in the buffet queue. Even their plate is organized. He passes the salt at first request, refills your glass of water. Sometimes others may feel he is disinterested in having food.

Analysis: He is family oriented; he cares for others and shows lot of compassion towards others. Social and family interaction is his first priority.

Restless eater:

He eats because he has to. He feels that it is a routine that has to be done. One often feels whether he feels hungry at all. He can survive on any quick bites and stomach filler and he grabs a bite on the move always. He normally makes a mess of his plate.

Analysis: He looks to be in a hurry but usually he is a procrastinator. He is always in the middle of hundred of things at least in his mind. He lives for the moment and wants to constantly move ahead but can't do so because of their non-routine life.

The fussy eater:

He sometimes makes unreasonable demands on the table. He never enjoys his meals. He will eat at the top restaurant purely to boast about it later or to be seen and on the other hand he is the one who loads his plate to the fullest at the buffet and wastes lot of food. He always tries to flaunt his taste.

Analysis: He is a wannabe, dominating and a name-dropper. He may shuttle between two extremes-too much, and at times, too little. He doesn't know what he wants and he is always undecided.
