Writing Techniques:

To do research is easy but to write an effective research paper which grabs your professor's attention to put an "A" against your name really requires efforts. Keeping this in view, we have developed basic techniques extracted from our 10 years experience.

Start − How Research works?
The first step in making an effective paper is to gather data from every possible source you have. Those sources could be internet, books, and reliable websites. However our experience suggests that those students who acquire newspapers and online articles are exposed to the chance of getting more marks than those who simply utilize books or websites. It entirely depends upon the researcher what sources he chooses for acquiring data. Whatever he chooses, it must be properly cited according to the writing style.

How to develop a writing process that fits into your essay?
After conducting extensive research over the assigned topic, comes the most important part, i.e., to fit the acquired information into a structure. While structuring the information, make sure the following points must be fulfilled:
  • The structure should be easy to understand to your target audience.
  • The information should be structured in such a manner that it enables the reader to grasp the theme of the topic.
  • The information must represent a flow and a logical sequence. The best way to structure is to make use of headings.

Make sure to break down the activity into chunks.

Try to use your own words wherever possible
Using own words require you to understand the topic thoroughly and think more creatively. This is the stage when you can say you have turned the collected data into 'discovery'. Explore your ideas by converting your thoughts into black and white. Do not 'censor' your thoughts at this stage. Give freedom to your thoughts and words.

Don't panic! Focus on one aspect of your essay
It is often observed that being student, you are so much confused over tight deadlines that you try to swallow the topic all at once. Give yourself a break. Understand the topic and concentrate on a single notion. For example, instead of thinking of the whole topic, try to get an edge by providing reason and support for it. By this you can easily pave your way to a successful finish.
"I learned three important things in college to use a library, to memorize quickly and visually, to drop asleep at any time given a horizontal surface and fifteen minutes. What I could not learn was to think creatively on schedule."
Agnes De Mille
